The everyday task of cleaning the fridge just got a whole lot easier with this handy little hack , but not everyone is convinced it's a good idea.
A woman who runs a Facebook page for no-judgment cleaning hacks shared the tip on social media, posting her best fridge cleaning tip, which she says "makes life easier."
After removing clinging food from the shelves with a mini-scraper, the woman cleans the shelf before covering it with a common household item: cling film. "Put cling film on the shelves next time," he wrote. "So next time you'll just have to throw it away."
The stunt was praised by many, who said it was a "brilliant idea".
"I have all the kids and that would definitely help. They throw things and pretend they haven't seen them," one mother wrote.

"I never thought of cling film. I'll do this today while I'm cleaning the fridge. Children always spill something in the fridge. It will be so easy and quick to clean up," commented a third.
'Disgusting'
While some appreciated the time-saving hack, others wondered who even got their fridge that dirty.
"Comment pouvez-vous laisser votre réfrigérateur devenir aussi dégoûtant ? Pourquoi ne pas nettoyer vos déversements et vos dégâts immédiatement ? Dégoûtant. Sortez tout de ce réfrigérateur et nettoyez-le correct, vous ne pensez pas ? Ça doit érettreard Eine Person.
"How about you clean it every time you put groceries in it?" It takes 20 seconds," another added, while another commented, "Or clean your fridge if you spill rather than cover it up, growing mold, spreading bacteria etc...
Following the nasty comments, the post's author reiterated what his channel was about, writing, "This is a non-judgmental motivational clean-up page...the comments section shows exactly why we need it. You don't need them. You are not a better person because you clean better or because your method is different You are not better because your house is better Kindness is free and moreover rewarding.
Several followers have defended the woman, saying her videos are helpful and that not everyone has time to keep things clean because "life just happens."
"I'm pretty sure everyone gets their fridge dirty at some point, it happens by accident - food spills, your life is busy and you just don't have time. It happens to the best of us," one person wrote.
"Why do people have to be so mean? It's just a video, if you've helped a person, you've accomplished something," added another.
