Properly cleaning your home isn't always about removing dirt and clutter, you often want it to smell nice too. Although you may find that your house smells nice right after you scrub, the smell of the products often dissipates quickly.
Luckily, one woman has found a solution that keeps her home spark and bacteria free while smelling great. TikTokker CleanwithCourteney shared the simple hack with its 300,000 social media followers.
The mother of two often posts helpful cleaning tips and tricks, and her videos have garnered 1.3 million likes. All you need for this particular hack is an all-purpose floor cleaner and some dusters.
Opening up the video, Courteney explained, "One way I keep my house smelling nice is by using my favorite scented cleaner, a feather duster, and hot water."
Fill the kitchen sink with a capful of floor cleaner with water before submerging the duster in it. Courteney continued: "Just check all the radiators, doors, door handles, radiator shrouds.
"Not only does it smell great, but it helps keep germs away from little ones, especially in the coming winter months," she added, wiping down all the surfaces she mentioned.
Most antibacterial floor cleaners, like Flash, can kill up to 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, making them a great choice for surfaces that see a lot of hands. And with alluring scents like apple blossom, you're sure to find something to suit your home.
In comments on the video, people were quick to praise Courteney for her advice.
"I can smell that through the phone!" someone passed out from the orange cinnamon cleanser Courteney used. Another suggested also using Zoflora Antibacterial Cleanser, which also comes in a variety of scents.
