ALDI supermarket grouting hack with an unlikely purchase goes viral...

An ALDI shopper shared an unusual cleaning tip for removing grout from your kitchen tiles: Use a cult laundry detergent.

The cleaning enthusiast posted to a popular Facebook group - Australian Cleaning & Organizing Inspiration - showing the before and after results of using ALDI's Di-San Pre Wash Stain Remover Spray.

"I've been using the long-lasting grout cleaner for years," he wrote in the post.

"Finally tried a different method from Aldi DiSan PreWash (and) a little exfoliation.

"Leave on for 10 minutes and clean twice with hot water and a dash of vinegar!"

Long Life grout cleaner is another popular cult buy for cleaning enthusiasts, but the woman on the Facebook group found her new method much more effective.

"So quick and easy. The kitchen grout looks so much brighter!! I'll take care of the rest of the house tomorrow!"

"Love the Aldi DiSan, I use it for a lot of hard cleaning jobs, it looks amazing," said another.
