Woman shares £1 mirror cleaning hack that keeps her from fogging up

A lifestyle influencer has revealed how you can quickly clean your bathroom mirrors and even prevent future fogging or smudging.

No matter how often you clean your mirrors , it doesn't take long before fingerprints and dust start to build up again, making them look dirty and unkempt.

Not to mention the layer of mist that covers them after a shower or bath and lasts a long time unless you get close with a washcloth.

However, one woman says using a simple ingredient prevents fog from sticking to the mirror and keeps it clean and shiny even after using hot water.

Content creator Chantel, also known as @mama_mila_ on TikTok , is known for sharing helpful cleaning and organization hacks to help you stay on top of chores.

One of her latest videos features time-saving bathroom cleaning tips that promise to "change the way you clean."

And one of the tricks is to use shaving cream on the bathroom mirror to keep it spotless even after a hot shower or bath.

In the video, he explained, "If you have fogged up mirrors, put a small amount of shaving cream on them to make them shine and keep them from fogging up."

A bottle of shaving cream is just £1 from Wilko and Tesco and as you only need to use a small amount, one bottle will do many scrubs.

Other tips in Chantel's video were to mix white vinegar with dish soap and put it on a dish brush to scrub all of the bathroom surfaces.

And the final tip was to remove the shower seal and scrub the inside with the same brush that effectively removes dirt and mold.

In the comments, people raved about Chantel's tips, and many said they did the same thing when cleaning the bathroom.

"My favorite shape," one said, while another commented, "Great, thanks for that!"

Others were surprised that you could go straight to the shower seal and wipe it off and one said "sorry that thing under the shower door has a name on it and you let it come off?!!"
