The gym leaves your clothes sweaty and stinks. In fact, the gym absorbs moisture, germs and bacteria and causes odors.

Smelly clothing is not only socially unacceptable but can also cause various skin problems.

So you can manage it.

Cause: What causes the smell?

Your sportswear is very different from your usual clothing. You do not have the flexibility of cotton.

They tend to smell foul after exercise as they sweat excessively and have limited space between body and clothing.

When sweat and dirt accumulate, they stick to clothing, do not go out and cause an unpleasant odor.

Tips (1): Tips for cleaning sweaty sportswear

Always wash your clothes the wrong way round. In fact, sweat and dirt stick to your clothing during training and not on the outside.

Soak your clothes and wash them with cold or warm water. Avoid the use of hot water.

Do not use your sportswear anymore. Wash them after each session.

If you are tired, go outside for about an hour.

Tips (2): Tips for cleaning sweaty sportswear

If possible, take a bath before and after training. This reduces the likelihood that germs will adhere to your body.

Do not abuse the detergent, it will be more difficult to wash your clothes and keep the germs.

You can also try natural cleansers such as baking soda and vinegar as they are great for killing germs.

Do not forget to also clean your sports bag.
