14 tips to get ridiculously beautiful on time for Valentine's Day

Whatever the reason for changing your toilet for Valentine's Day, you can't go wrong with any or all of these steps. Bonus points if you continue far beyond V-Day.

1. Improve your hair product

Ointment may be your best friend when you attend a board meeting, but it's time to relax on Valentine's Day. Replace your ointment with a styling cream that has a lot of fixative power to maintain your style, but gives a more natural finish that invites you to run your hands through your hair. Work a dime on towel-dried hair, shape your style with your hands, and let it air-dry for a casual, modern look.

2. Look rested (and attentive)

Nobody likes to sit in front of someone who seems to be falling asleep. Wearing an eye mask for 15 minutes before leaving home can remove pouches under the eyes, lighten dark circles, and wake your eye. Store them in the fridge for added value. When they're cold, they'll crush your bags faster and easier. Get a multi-pack so you can use it the next morning.

3. Make your hands soft

You may not think they recognize your hands, but trust us, they do. It doesn't matter whether you push a pencil or a wheelbarrow all day: battered, dry and cracked hands are an important stop. Apply the quick-absorbing hand cream to your mittens as many times as you want, but definitely before you pick them up for your appointment. The first impression is everything and soft hands go a long way.

4. Get a pedicure

Getting a pedicure is a long game, because nobody wants to lie on the bed and feel the sharp nails on their legs. A good pedicure ensures that your toenails are clean and cut, that your feet don't have rough corneas, and that they are well hydrated and soft. You should get one even if no one will see your feet as it will make you feel better immediately with minimal effort. If you don't have time for a professional pedicure, you can play with it. The first step is to suck your feet in well.

5. Make your smile shine

The eyes may be the window of your soul, but your smile says a lot about you. A white smile can tell a lot about your hygiene practices, and some even say that you can look younger and more attractive. Start a few days before V-Day using an LED-assisted whitening system that can speed up bleaching time so your smile is pleasant and bright throughout the night.

6. Make sure you have Manscape

According to our own men's health survey, 62% of women prefer a man to cut there. The same survey found that 46% of men who work in the garden do this occasionally. If you are one of these guys, this is your chance to do it. If you are not one of them, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a try. Use a lawn mower designed specifically for the body (to avoid possible accidents) and follow these steps to ensure that you are doing it correctly and without injuries.

7. Smooth your beard

Anyone who whispers a beard knows that nothing can prevent a later date from being softer than dry and scratched facial hair. Short facial hair can look like sandpaper on someone else's face, and a longer beard can look like a broom. No matter how long your hair is, use a beard oil to soften and moisturize your mustaches. Use a small amount and go upstairs if you need more to prevent it from getting too greasy (which is a stop).

8. Apply a subtle aroma

Using a perfume is good, using too much perfume is very, very bad. Nothing makes a partner run to the other side faster than the smell, as if he had just crossed a cloud of perfume sprays from department stores. The trick with using Cologne is to use the right amount to invite someone to approach, but not to leave the perfume after hugging. Try a firm cologne and rub a little on your wrists and neck. It is much more difficult to go overboard with a solid than with a spray.

9. Wear a mask

All the fun of V-Day doesn't have to be a date. Instead, planning a relaxing night out can be just as exciting. Start with a DIY spa moment so you and your partner can relax. In this scenario, multiple leaf masks are your best friend. A sheet mask makes your apartment a sanctuary for Valentine's Day, whether you're with someone else or alone. And if you have facial or whiskers, look for a mask designed specifically for men with facial hair.

10. Adjust the environment at home with an oil diffuser

When you bring someone home, the quickest way to destroy the mood is to enter a smelly room. Switching on an oil diffuser in your room (or in another room in your house) immediately changes the mood in each room. Choose a mix of energizing or relaxing oil depending on how you spend the night and let the diffuser do all the work. A good smell can mask a variety of complaints, like this basket full of dirty sportswear in the corner.

11. Get an elegant deodorant

The feeling of coming out of the locker room is fine every other day of the year, but it's Valentine's Day, for heaven's sake: you need to increase the stake. Imagine a fragrant natural deodorant as an extension of your colony. It shouldn't exceed anything else, but improve your overall mood with a clean scent. Keep it for special occasions and use it only when you need to feel extra prepared.

12. Tweezers on the eyebrows

Note that we do not "shape" or "shave" the eyebrows. You don't want to show up on V-Day with eyebrows that are too shaped or, worse, red, irritated skin that screams: "I just left the room for hair removal." However, you may still need to be cleaned. In this case, pinch the individual hair around and between the eyebrows a day or two before V-Day. Choose only hair that is not of the general shape. A little cleaning can be very useful.

13. Scrub your cup ...

He wants to appear with a bright, shiny glass on Valentine's Day, as if he had never washed his face before. Peeling is your answer. Removes dead skin cells from the skin, making them dull and tired and making your face shine. Use a mask with alpha hydroxy acids and a soft clay to cleanse and completely remove dead skin without leaving it red and irritated. Use it the day before, not the day of your appointment.

14 ... and your body

If you plan (or expect) to keep you busy on Day V, exfoliating your body can make your partner's experience enjoyable. Using a body scrub will help you get rid of dead cells hanging over your arms and legs (and everywhere) and make every inch of your body smoother than ever. If you have hair, look for a peel with smaller particles and rinse it well so that the particles don't stick and give sand to the hair.
