Tips on preparing your home for a spring sale with North Harbor Real Estate in Petoskey

The housing market continues to grow, especially for sellers. People who didn't even have the sale on their radar now have their homes on the market.

What should you do to make the most of your home sale?

Realtor Beth Flynn of North Harbor Real Estate in Petoskey joined "the four" LIVE with tips on preparing your home for a spring sale.

His advice includes:

1. If the house is unoccupied, send a cleaning company to fix it. If you are busy, it would also be nice to do some spring cleaning. \
2. Glass cleaning inside and outside.
3. Clear the garden of all winter debris, INCLUDING dog poo. After the winter the weather is always bad. But it's also something to make sure it's always done. Nobody likes walking in dog poo.
4. Wash at home when the weather is nice.
5. Finish all projects started in winter and clean up. Buyers must be able to imagine living in the house.
