Tips for spring cleaning

LANSING, Michigan (WILX) - We may have set some financial goals for the New Year. Here's a checkpoint: How are we?
Janelle Merritt of American 1 Credit Union has some ideas on how to conduct a financial assessment.
Merritt suggested setting a weekly "payment date" with yourself.
"Just like connecting with a loved one, you have to invest time and your money," said Merritt. "Sometimes it can be difficult when you are faced with a very difficult situation. Financial situation to even open this account. So we recommend that you check weekly how you spent your money the previous week and then think about what you are likely to pay. ""

Experts share springtime skin care tips, from dispensing your intense moisturizer to putting on sulfur masks
You should update your skin care routine every season, say dermatologists.
The dermatologist Dr. Melanie Palm said Insider's high-performance moisturizers are good for winter, but could clog pores in warmer temperatures.
Lighter weight moisturizers, sulfur washes to reduce sebum, and lots of sunscreen can keep skin clean and healthy.
The end of winter is synonymous with spring cleaning and refreshments. Your skin care products shouldn't be an exception.
Changing your routine to adapt your skin to the seasons is critical to avoiding acne, oiliness, sun damage , and other common skin care problems , said dermatologist Dr. Diego from San Diego told Insider Diego. Melanie Palm .
These are the products you should buy and the ones you should drop this spring.
Replace heavy face creams with light moisturizers to prevent acne.
Palm said a common mistake people make in spring is stacking the same heavy moisturizers they use in winter.
In winter, drought is an issue , so it makes sense to use a thicker moisturizer. But in the spring, the warmer weather could turn your cream into a one-way ticket to Pimple City.
"High-performance moisturizers that lock in moisture and block damage to the skin barrier," said Palm. "Too much glycerin, squalane, triglycerides, etc. can cause clogged pores or oily skin in the warmer months."
Replace your moisturizer with a gel moisturizer. The gel moisturizers previously reported by Insider are great for acne-prone people as they are less likely to clog pores while moisturizing them.
Wear sulfur masks at the end of the day to reduce fat.
According to Palm, oil-reducing products are essential for spring and summer as the weather warms up and our skin produces more sweat. She opts for sulphurous laundry detergents and face masks to reduce the shine.
"Sulfur masks or washes are a perfect way to get better oil control as summer temperatures rise," Palm said.
Healthline reported that sulfur works by drying excess oil and sebum on the skin, which can reduce the number of clogged pores that cause acne. It's a gentle way to reduce acne and exfoliate your skin.
Be extra vigilant when applying sunscreen to avoid dangerous UV rays and premature aging.
Palm's next concern is that people should be more vigilant in the spring by protecting their skin from the sun. While this is important all year round, more time outdoors can mean more time exposure to the sun's harmful rays.
Palm recommends finding a mineral sunscreen that uses zinc and titanium to block the sun's rays. However, chemical sunscreens may be a better option for people with a darker skin tone, as mineral sunscreens tend to leave white residue behind.
"Remember, UVA rays - the longest ultraviolet rays associated with aging skin and melanoma - are transmitted through glass," Palm said. "Make sure you wear sunscreen in the car or indoors."
You can continue to use retinoids as long as you combine them with sunscreen.
The retinoids previously reported by Insider are a gel that chemically exfoliates the skin by increasing cell turnover. You can reduce the appearance of scars and acne.
Palm said that while retinoids can make your skin more sensitive to the sun, they're okay to use in the spring as long as it protects your skin.
"I think it's good to keep using retinoids over the summer," said Palm. "I've been using one since I was 14 and have never stopped. Just be aware of the abundant sun exposure and the slightly increased risk of sunburn with continued exposure.
Applying enough sunscreen should be enough to protect your skin from strong ultraviolet rays.

Pro tip: make your own day possible with your gear

Pro tip: By anticipating the demand for a clean label project for tech equipment, production costs, and time, bakers can cut marketing costs.
Private label projects make their own demands on your resources. These resources would include the production, engineering, R&D, and quality assurance equipment, as well as the cost and time required to operate.
Let's take a look at the following steps your company should consider for each of these resources:
- Technical team: The marketing team should include key personnel from the purchasing, production, engineering, research and development, and quality assurance teams. It is your responsibility to plan ahead to make sure essential ingredients, equipment, and packaging are ready. The packaging should reflect the new ingredients on the clean label. Depending on your changes, well-planned regular marketing cycles can last anywhere from six hours to two days. Planning is important to keep this time as short as possible.
- Cost - Ingredients are direct costs that with proper planning you will want to control. Understand the quality of the flour in advance and make sure that the absorption is optimal as the enzyme system affects the reaction of the dough. Line time is expensive and the less you plan, the more line time you have to sacrifice for marketing. Line workers are required to fully staff the line so adjustments can be made to accommodate wording changes.
- Timing - Make sure the ingredients and processes are in place to run the test. Sometimes planning takes 90 days. If your factory doesn't have a dedicated marketing team for this project, someone should take the lead to lead this project. Remember, the more time you spend planning a marketing campaign, the less money you will spend on the opportunity cost of marketing an unlabeled product.

World Hand Hygiene Day 2021: Tips to keep your hands clean for a healthy life

World Hand Hygiene Day 2021: "Wash your hands", "Disinfect your hands" and "Maintain social distance" are the pieces of advice most frequently heard today. Last year he put hygiene in the spotlight like never before, re-emphasizing the importance of hand washing and hygiene.
Health and safety have become topics of discussion at the same time. The situation also called for a change in habits and more purification. While most of us turn to the traditional method of washing our hands with soap and water to protect ourselves from germs, it's also important to regularly disinfect our hands when we can't wash them.
"In order to limit our risk of becoming infected with germs, it is important to wash and disinfect your hands regularly. Not only does this help kill germs, but it also prevents potential infections from spreading. Therefore, good hand hygiene is a priority for maintaining overall health and wellbeing, "says Dr. Sushrutha CK, Ayurveda Research and Development Expert at The Himalaya Drug Company.
World Hand Hygiene Day 2021: When Should You Wash Your Hands?
We come into contact with countless surfaces every day. Remember to wash your hands well after using the bathroom, before eating or touching your face with your hands, and before putting your mask on.
Here are some expert tips to keep your hands clean and healthy:
- Avoid hot water as it can dry out your skin. Instead, wash your hands with lukewarm water. Be sure to clean between your fingers, backs of hands, wrists, and under your fingernails, which is likely a breeding ground for germs
- For safe and clean hands, use a liquid hand soap and preferably one that has the benefits of natural ingredients like tulsi, aloe vera, and lemon because they have antimicrobial properties that help kill germs and nourish the skin.
- Rinse your hands well and be careful not to leave any soap residue, as this can cause skin irritation.
- Dry your hands with a clean towel or fresh towels to avoid exposing your clean hands to germs on used towels and towels.
- It is better to take a hand hygiene disinfectant with you when traveling, especially when traveling. Using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with natural ingredients like cilantro, ushira, walnut herb, neem, and spiked ginger lily can help. These herbs are known for their antimicrobial properties.
- Have towels handy to keep your hands clean and free of dirt. Take a packet of hand wipes with you to dinner and use it to remove food particles from the corners of your nails, fingers, and hands. Look for one that is fortified with the benefits of herbs like aloe vera, tulsi, and lemon. Tulsi is known for its excellent antimicrobial and skin detoxifying properties.
One of the most effective ways to stop the spread of infection is to follow simple hand hygiene practices. Maintaining good hand hygiene not only ensures your protection, but also prevents infections from spreading to other people around you. It is the need of the moment to make hand hygiene a priority in order to lead a healthy and happy life.
