Tips to protect children at home

NAPSI- With the summer months upon us, children spend more time at home, so it is important to ensure that they are safe, that their endless summer fun filled the house and the garden.

In honor of the home security, the American Cleaning Institute (ACI) will ensure homes are safe, while the kids out of school for the summer. After 10 simple tips in order to plan ahead and have a safe home security.

Tips for safe home are; Do not let the water hazard dampen the fun. Supervise young children while they swim or play in or near water. Supervise young children in the bathtub, too. Bring your children to swim and water safety and swimming pool.

Steer clear of the wipers. Keep packages of liquid detergents and cleaning agents of children saved away and made inaccessible. They can be harmful if ingested or in the eye.

Use non-slip mats in bathtubs and showers; Installing handrails to prevent accidents; the gate of accidents. Use safety gates if very young children; Jeep and combustible items from the oven.

Make sure each room has two exits in case of fire and create and practice a family escape plan; Install smoke detectors on every floor, including the basement, and replace the batteries at least once a year.

Keep checking all household cleaners and sharp utensils in the cupboards and drawers with appropriate protections for children and everyday objects possible dangers. Make sure that medicines, batteries, pens, lighters, matches, etc., they are out of reach or behind closed doors.
