Rachel McAdams Shows Off Her Armpit Hair on Latest Cover | POPSUGAR beauty

It's not about hiding your body hair anymore, just ask Rachel McAdams . On April 16, the actress' latest cover for Bustle was revealed on Instagram, and she shared some candid words about how she feels about her body now as a mother of two, while also showing off her armpit hair.

In one of the photos, McAdams wore a black and white bra, matching underwear and a black blazer. In another, she wears a short-sleeved dress with her hair exposed. "It's my body and I think it's very important to show it to the world," reads part of the caption. "I love this juxtaposition of beauty, glamour, fantasy and then truth." It was also revealed that McAdams asked that the footage be edited as little as possible. "It's good to look good, push yourself and be healthy, but it's different for everyone," he explained.

McAdams is the latest in a line of celebrities to come to terms with their relationship with body hair. Many have been advocates of the look over the years, including Phoebe Bridgers , who proudly flaunted her armpit hair at the 2023 iHeart Radio Awards , and Ashley Graham, who revealed in 2020 that she stopped shaving while pregnant. Wherever you are on the spectrum, remember that body hair is nothing to be ashamed of, and if you don't want to remove it, take a page from McAdam's book and don't.
