Tips for cleaning your pantry before the holidays

Clean out your pantry

Do you have to get lunch or dinner at this time of year? If so, an influx of food products you will see, to catch your fridge and pantry. Before you make even a shopping list for your party, however, set aside some time to clean out your pantry.

• Empty and clean the pantry: Take everything in the pantry and put it in one of your kitchen counter or table. Once your pantry is empty, clean it with a towel and a good cleaning like Scrubbing Bubbles ® cleaner Lemon power used with Fantastik®. If a food has a lot of dust, the dust before proceeding.

• Insert a donation box: Before placing the items start back in your pantry, you pack a box of donated food to local food bank or shelter. If you are unsure what items are needed, are, call your chosen charity to find out which foods are most in demand.

• Update your pantry: Now that your pantry is clean and has to donate a list box of food to your local charity, it's time to recharge your pantry again. Most of these methods involves personal preference, but a good rule of thumb is to organize items into similar groups with the next expiration dates on the front.

• Create your holiday shopping list. Now that you know what's in your pantry, you can create your favorites list Holiday Eating You will not be stuck with half a dozen cans of chicken broth, because you know that you already have in hand a few cans.
