The preservation of memories in stone

Monroe, WI (WXOW) County - A grave stone is often used as a physical connection between the living and the dead.

On this Memorial Day, people from across the country can be found on the score of those friends and relatives who have gone their eternal rest. If the monument begins to show signs of wear, Monroe County Historian Jarrod Rouleau said it might be time for a good cleaning.
