Police ask for help identifying suspect in McGill Park Apartments robbery | FOX 5 Atlanta

Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department's Robbery Unit are asking for the public's help in identifying a thief involved in a recent robbery at the McGill Park Apartments.

The incident occurred on September 19 at around 2:10 p.m. Officers responded to 1305 McGill Park Avenue NE after receiving a report of a robbery at the apartment complex's clubhouse. When they arrived, they spoke with the report writer, who said an unknown man broke into the clubhouse and damaged several doors. Several items were stolen, including cleaning supplies, trash bags and light bulbs.

Surveillance footage provided by the report author showed the thief wearing a tattered light-colored T-shirt, jeans and sneakers. The suspected thief had an abnormal gait and may have been homeless.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta. Tipsters do not have to provide their name and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
