In a video shared with her 3.7million TikTok followers, a woman taking cues from @nottheworstcleaner on social media revealed her process for whitening a yellowish shirt.

"If you have white shirts that are looking a little gray or have already been bleached and are now yellow, you need to try Liquid Blueing," he said.

"All you have to do is dilute a few drops in cold water and add it to the last rinse of your washing machine if it's a larger load."

The cleaning expert mentioned that you can use a bucket if you're working with a smaller load.

"You can do it in a bucket for about 10 minutes, soak it, and then rinse it off," he explained.

Liquid Blueing is available from Ace Hardware for just $4.95 .

According to Cleaning Genius, Liquid Blueing is non-toxic and doesn't contain any harsh chemicals like bleach, so it won't tarnish or yellow fabrics.

The woman presented the process in a white t-shirt and ended up wearing a bright white garment.
