An Australian mom tried six popular oven cleaning hacks. Only one left it "bright and clean"

An Australian mum has shared the results of a very interesting cleaning experiment that found the best way to remodel your dirty oven.

In a popular Facebook group, the homeowner revealed she tried six popular tricks on her dirty oven door, but only one worked.

In her post, the woman explained how she tried dish soap, vinegar, baking soda and baking soda, a razor blade, and Gumption.

She shared a thumbs-up snap of her sparkling clean oven and revealed the one trick that got the job done.

"Vinegar. Result: no change," she wrote on the Mums Who Clean page. "Windex. Result: no change.

"Bake/Soda. Result: I left it on for 10 minutes and it removed most of the dirt, but there was still a small amount that just wouldn't come off!"

"Razor blades. Result: A small amount came off, but I didn't want to push it any harder because I was too afraid it would scratch the glass.

"Jugeote. Result: WIN! He took everything! It's so shiny and clean!"

Many were quick to praise Gumption for solving difficult cleaning problems.

"I cleaned mine a little recklessly last night with a non-scratch pad. It was so easy I couldn't believe my eyes," said one.

Another said: "How good is Gumption?"
