Tommy Bracco ( @tommy_bracco ) dubbed himself a "mama's boy" and took to TikTok to share his mom's hilarious but amazing cooking trick.

While her Italian mom clearly loves a good home-cooked meal, she doesn't like the mess that comes with it.

"I need to know if someone else's mom does this," she said in the clip , laughing happily at her method.

"My mom makes chicken schnitzel on the side, but she covered the whole pan with aluminum foil because she was cleaning it."

The chef looked proud as she roasted her chicken on a single burner that wasn't lined with foil.

"We come home and it literally feels like we're in a spaceship," Tommy joked.

Though the looks might be a little questionable, the method is a surefire way to prevent crumbs from getting onto freshly cleaned grates .

Although most viewers said they had never seen the cooking method, they were excited to try it.
