Cleaning Queen: Tips for Dusting Stuffed Animals - WDBJ

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - The Queen of Order knows dust can collect in every corner of a home, but you don't know how much it collects on the stuffed animals the little ones in your life love.

To counteract this dust, here are some tips:

What do you need:

• Normal size garbage bag
• Salt
• brush
• Measuring device
• *Sodium bicarbonate
• *Dryer

As:

• Place the stuffed animal in the plastic bag.
• Add 1/2 cup: salt
• Tighten the bag tightly
• Shake well several times
• Open the bag and remove dirt and salt from the stuffed animal with a brush (we recommend doing this outdoors).
• *If SMELL is a problem, do the same with baking soda.
• *Bonus Tip: Place each stuffed animal in the dryer on Air Dry (NO heat) for 10 minutes.
