Five things to do in Norwood

1. The lines operate at Dedham Square West Coffeehouse, 565 High Street, on Saturday, May 5 at 8:00 p. M. This is a free show.

2nd Day Community Service: 10am to 2pm 5 May First Congregational Church in Norwood, 100 participants Winter Road will teach a variety of local non-profit organizations and help with various practical service projects provided by organizations that participate in the event. There will be an inflatable house, children's entertainment and crafts, a cake shop and a flea market. Lunch will be available from noon to 1:30 pm and classic rock concert will begin at 1pm

3. Simple Spring Cleaning Tips: From 7:00 am to 8:30 pm on May 7 at Morrill Memorial Library, 33 Walpole St., Norwood. To register for this program, call 781-769-0200, ext. 110 or 222, send an e-mail to norprograms@minlib.net or stop at the information desk or reference library. Participants get to know the spring cleaning strategies for the house, cellar, attic, garage or shed. Elena Nilan and Chad Clark from Simple Living Strategies will share tips and local resources.

4th Art Exhibition Sculpture Norwood Public School: 12:00 to 2:00 pm May 12 Grace Episcopal Church Sunken Garden, 150 Chapel Street, Norwood. Free. The Department of Fine Arts in Norwood Public Schools will present an exhibition of sculptures created by undergraduate, middle and high school students.

5. Norwood VFW Post 2452 on Dean Street, Norwood hosts a meat raffle every Saturday from 2pm to 5pm. It is open to the public and everyone is welcome. The price for each drawing is only $ 2. Ten drawings are made every Saturday.

A $ 20 pre-purchase is available in the post during the week. In this way, you can enter the 10 drawings that were created on Saturday. Winners of previous purchases do not have to be present to win.
