Mounting Test for Elevation Lab Anchor Pro Headphones: Cleaning the My Studio Desktop [Video]

With all current electronic components, peripherals and cables can easily penetrate into a workspace. I've been trying out lots of headphones lately, which can take up a lot of desk space. Elevation Lab has been producing products for some time to help clean a workspace. Anchor Pro is a tool that I hope I can use to attach the headphones to my desk instead of throwing them away. Watch the video below for more information.

For the last two desks, I just put a small nail in the side to hang a helmet, but that's not a very good option. I am also worried that this will damage the headband of some headphones. It worked, but it is not an ideal solution.

Pro go

As the name implies, Anchor Pro is a larger version of the old $ 12 anchor . Still, Amazon still has a lot left over for only $ 16 . It comes with the Pro Anchor, an additional 3M adhesive pad, adhesive flanges, mounting screws, a drill and an alcohol swab to clean a surface before assembly. Elevation Lab contains everything needed for a fast and secure installation.

Anchor Pro contents

The Anchor Pro consists of a "fiber-reinforced exotic polymer" that is twice as strong as cast aluminum. He is durable and not very flexible.

With two different attachment methods, glue and screws, the Anchor Pro must be mounted on almost any surface. If you only use the glue, make sure the surface is smooth and finished. The adhesive will have difficulty adhering to a porous or rough wood.

adhesive support

Under my IKEA desk in the studio, I thought about testing the glue. First, I installed the Anchor Pro dry with a pair of headphones to see what it would look like. When I found a spot that suited me, I removed the adhesive film and applied pressure for about 10 seconds as indicated in the instructions. Elevation Lab recommends waiting 24 hours for the glue to cure before hanging anything on the Anchor Pro.

Razer and Focal headphones on the Anchor Pro

Anchor Pro is operational once a day. The larger size of the Anchor Pro fits in any headset. I put on the huge Razer Nari helmet and a pair of emblematic Focal headphones that they had sent me to try, the Utopia , and both have their place comfortably.

Another thing that Elevation Lab wanted to discuss with Anchor Pro is cable management. The main body has a Velcro fastener, which allows the cables to be routed well to Anchor Pro. All cables can hang directly under the helmet and do not affect the legs.

The Anchor Pro is also supplied with two self-adhesive cable clamps. They can be used to clean the cables under the desk and avoid falling hazards. These are simply mounted further back on the desk and released to hold the cables.

Conclusion

Overall, Anchor Pro is a great way to reduce office or combat disorder. Sometimes you want to display a headset, but sometimes you would prefer to have that place available for another device. For $ 16, Elevation Lab has developed a package that includes everything you need to clean your helmet configuration.
