One woman thought she had a good business, but bought baskets to buy the size of a doll instead of real life

One mother, who thought she'd made a bargain after buying three baskets for less than one book, found that she had actually bought doll-sized items.

Nottinghamshire's Lauren Lacey thought she would save a few pennies when she ran into an Amazon ad announcing a 91 pence hamper.

The young woman, however, was surprised when the objects did not become larger than 5 cm. In fact, they were desk organizers who held pens, glasses and even make-up brushes and no clothes.

Lauren told her funny story to the 216,412 members of Hinch Army Cleaning Tips on Facebook, many of whom admitted to having made the same mistake in the past.

In this article, which collected 400 comments and nearly 6,000 mentions in 24 hours, Lauren said, "So I thought I had a good deal, three baskets of 91 pence each, guess who did not read the description?

A quick look at the description of Amazon would have shown, however, that the baskets at a price of £ 5.21 were about 4.4 "by 4.33" in size.

"Haha, that made me laugh," wrote one of them. "I bought iron to soften the same Lol."

Another writes, "Oh. Damn, it's fun, but I think most of us did things like that, while a third party wrote Absolutely Weird.

"That would please Barbie," joked another.

In the meantime, others have even shared photos of their faulty purchases, including a screen, a paddling pool, and even a TV with a remote control.

"I did something similar when I ordered a children's pool," one of them said while another admitted, "Ha, I did the same with a copper strainer."

While sharing a television picture that could fit in your palm, a third person wrote, "It came from Amazon, I just asked for a TV.

"They had a hard neck to have a small remote control with them, haha."

"If it helps, I did it when I bought my pitcher in Pyrex! It looks so big in the picture, another one said.
