Detroit city officials are working to make storm cleanup easier for residents

DETROIT - There's a plan to pick up all of the trash Mother Nature has left behind while the Detroit Department of Public Works cleans up the mess.

Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan spoke Thursday about the city's increased efforts to collect debris from homes and remove damaged items from flooded basements. It's important work, which is why the teams work longer and want to hear from affected residents.
