Keeping your car clean can be a real chore, especially in the colder months and bad weather .
However, keeping your engine looking pristine can be easier and cheaper than you think.

From vinegar to baking soda , most items can be found in the back of our kitchen cabinets, making it easier than ever to make our cars shine.
Here are some tips and things you can use.
White wine vinegar
White wine vinegar is a staple food for many. Multipurpose cleaners are suitable for many surfaces, including your car.
You can use it both outdoors and on the upholstery of your car.
Although vinegar is acidic, if diluted it will not damage your car paint. Just avoid using it too often just when there are bits of debris that aren't moving.
You should also avoid spraying it directly on your car without mixing it with water.
Also great for removing car stickers, odors and chewing gum from carpets.
As a rule of thumb, mix three parts water with one part white wine vinegar, this is known as an acid rinse. Use the mixture in moderation!
The so-called acid rinse can remove dirt and grease that soap cannot.
You can also mix 60 ml of olive oil with 120 ml of white vinegar (shaken well) to clean the leather upholstery of your car.
Coconut oil
After you've cleaned your car's leather upholstery, you can use coconut oil to maintain it.
All you need is a small amount that can be smoothed with a clean, dry cloth and worked into the material.
An added bonus is that your car smells great.
Coconut oil can also protect against cracks and restore the eye-catching shine.
Cornstarch
Cornstarch, a food ingredient typically used to thicken sauces and soups, is an effective cleaning genius for many different purposes.
You can clean the windows of your car with 120 g corn starch and a liter of water. Use dry newspaper soaked in the mixture to make these windows shine.
Cornstarch can also be used to deodorize odors in your car. Just sprinkle the remaining mixture on the car and let it sit for about half an hour before cleaning.
That is not everything. You can also remove excess cornstarch car polish and wax. The mixture can help polish and even remove swirl marks on black cars.
toothpaste
Toothpaste has many uses and keeps our breath fresh and minty.
It can also be applied to our headlights to make them shine brighter than our pearl white.
After removing excess dirt and grime with a warm soapy towel, apply toothpaste to the headlights and scrub.
However, try to avoid staining your car paint. You can use masking tape to loop the track if you are concerned.
Rub alcohol
You don't have to spend money on fancy stain removers, use rubbing alcohol instead!
Wiping the liquid off with a dye-free cloth can remove stains from your car and help keep your engine in tip-top condition.
The uses for rubbing alcohol don't end here. If you run out of defroster, simply spray a mixture of 60 ml of alcohol per liter of water on the windshield and watch the ice melt.
You can also use equal parts alcohol and water to clean the hard surfaces of your car.
Sodium bicarbonate
Baking soda is one of the most handy kitchen cabinet staples and can be used for many things, such as cooking and teeth whitening.
It can also be used to keep your car clean.
Dusty ashtrays full of crumbs and hair can be an unsightly aesthetic and a nightmare to remove.
Do not worry! Instead, after vacuuming to remove excess dirt, apply a mixture of baking soda and water, let sit for half an hour, and scrub with a toothbrush.
peanut butter
The tree can be so bothersome that many of our cars are sticky and difficult to clean.
But all you need to pull your coat out of your car is peanut butter.
Spread the peanut butter over the affected area, smooth and not thick, and try to warm the area.
You can also use mayonnaise and hand sanitizer if you have something lying around.
Christmas smell of cinnamon
Cleaning your car seems almost pointless if it doesn't stop smelling good.
You can get in the Christmas spirit by creating your own renewed festive fragrance with a few simple ingredients.
Take an empty glass, add orange peel and cover with white vinegar; Also add cinnamon sticks if it feels even more Christmassy.
Leave the mixture in a cool, dark place for about two weeks and pour it into a spray bottle.
