How do dishwasher tabs work?

Phosphates - One of the main ingredients in dishwashing detergents, phosphates remove limescale and help break down food stuck to dishes, pots and pans.

Enzymes - These biological catalysts work at the cellular level to break down food buildup and remove oil and fat by releasing proteins and peptides.

Bleach - Laundry detergent contains a small amount of chlorine bleach to further break down food debris and provide additional cleaning.
