Of course, safety comes first when grilling. When using a propane tank for grilling, it is important to check the line and connection points for leaks. Take a spray brush and dip it in soapy water. Rub the soap mixture over the pipe and fittings. If you notice too many bubbles forming, you may have a leak. The hose must be replaced before it can be used again.

To cover or not to cover? According to Tilley, you may be doing more harm than good by covering the grill. If no rain is forecast, it is best to leave the cover open.
"You don't want moisture getting into the grill, so let it breathe," says Tilley.
Leave it covered during the winter months until spring.
