If you live in a hard water area, use a cleaning agent once a week. Viakal Limescale Descaler Vaporizer is a GHI favorite.

furnaces

Spray a solution of white vinegar (you can fill an old spray bottle exhaust as soon as it has been thoroughly rinsed) onto a stainless steel hot plate and allow it to work on the fat for a few minutes before cleaning it with a sponge.

If you have problems spilling protein-containing foods (such as milk or eggs) on a stainless steel baking tray, immerse a rag or an old rag in an organic cleaning solution and apply immediately. Detergent enzymes help in degradation.

Lift the container and loosen it with a sponge. Repeat this process if necessary. Remember to allow your stove to cool completely before cleaning .

surfaces

To clean stainless steel surfaces, wash with a dishwashing detergent solution and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

If you only want to remove fingerprints, apply a little baby oil or rinse aid on a clean cloth and rub the entire surface.

equipment

  • Kettle: Clean the outside of the kettle with soapy water and polish it with a microfiber cloth.
  • Toasters and sandwiches: Turn off the device and unplug the power cord before cleaning it with a damp cloth while it is still warm to remove crumbs, oily residue, and recently spilled ingredients before they solidify. Take a kitchen sponge and a small amount of hot soapy water and clean the surface again thoroughly. Carefully rub off the hard-to-move food particles.
  • Refrigerators and freezers: Do not neglect the areas outside the refrigerator, such as the handle and the door frame, where germs may accumulate through frequent hand contact. If you have a fridge / freezer with the freezer combination down, use the gap nozzle of your vacuum to remove leftovers that have accumulated in the folds of the freezer door seal. You can also use a rigid kitchen brush to remove them. Place the corner of a linen or cotton hand towel soaked in Milton sterilization liquid along the wrinkles for sanitizing and later dry the door seal with a cold corner of the towel.

    kitchen utensils

    • Allow the pan to cool in difficult spots, fill with water and add a dishwashing tablet or 1 tablespoon of organic detergent (the organic detergent contains enzymes specifically designed to combat food origin).
    • Put the pan back on the plate and cook.
    • Simmer for about 10 minutes. The burned parts then just go up and the stove stays like new.
    • If necessary repeat, then wash thoroughly as usual. You can also use this method, roaster safety for the table of the kitchen .

      cutlery

Remove stains with a cloth soaked in vinegar or lemon juice and rinse thoroughly.

Stainless steel blades are more susceptible to corrosion than stainless steel forks or spoons. To obtain a durable cutting edge, the steel used in the knife blade must be much harder than that used for other cutlery. This leads to a reduced corrosion resistance. To keep your blades in perfect condition, do not leave them immersed in water for an extended period of time and always wash them by hand. Then dry well with a cloth.

Suggestion: Polish the stainless steel cutlery occasionally with an exclusive stainless steel cleaner to get a shiny finish. Wash well after polishing.

      Trashcan

If the outside of the container is brushed stainless steel, we recommend that you use a clean cloth microfiber as an electronic cloth and a glass cleaner.
