Many stores carry refillable scouring pads and scouring pads from brands like Dishmatic, kitchen gadgets that allow you to attach a sponge to one end of the handle and pour dish soap into the handle itself. It's designed for washing up in the kitchen sink, but it's also an invaluable item for shower storage. Fill half the handle with your favorite washing-up liquid and the other half with white vinegar (but omit the vinegar if you have grout or marble in the shower). Dish soap cuts through soap scum in the shower, while vinegar works wonders on glass doors. Keep in the shower and use to clean surfaces after washing, or use to while away the time while you perform a deep hair treatment. Simply rinse off with shower water and marvel at the sparkling shower that remains. It only takes a minute but eliminates the need for regular deep cleaning.
