As the colder months arrive, mold can become a problem in many homes across the country.
Due to the moisture trapped in our homes, condensation can form on windows, with bathrooms often being a big problem in this regard.
With this in mind, many people are looking for ways to remove mold from their bathroom without having to spend a lot of money. Luckily, there are plenty of tips and tricks that can help, and social media users and cleaning enthusiasts are sharing their tips.
One woman shared an easy way to get rid of mold in her bathroom using two products you may have in your cabinets and closets: bleach and cotton pads.
On TikTok , Samina_iltaf shared a short clip showing the cleaning trick . The Tiktoker explained: "Add bleach to a cotton ball and leave it overnight."
Next, you should place the cotton pads on problem areas, such as in the corners of the shower or around the crevices of the sink.
The TikToker then said that if the mold is removed overnight, you can see the results in the morning.
The video has received more than 100,000 likes, more than 600 comments and almost 10,000 have been saved. The clip's comments section is full of people who have tried the method, with one of them writing, "Works with toilet paper too!"
Another agreed and said: "Works great!! I do the same thing with toilet paper strips."
A third said: "It really works, I do it all the time," while a fourth wrote: "I do this and it works wonders."
