It is amazing how the city can be dirty. We have over or in the ears, after all. I'm guilty of rarely clean my headphones, because I'm the only person with them, but hygiene is not the only factor when cleaning.

The oil or wax in my left ear on his helmet, the sound quality of the headphones affect - especially the variety in the ear. In this sense, try to make a regular habit to clean the headset.

First, you need to pick up some supplies, everything you probably already have at home. You will need:

  • A bowl of hot water and soap (detergent works well)
  • A soft cloth
  • A toothbrush
  • A small towel

Once you have collected supplies, soak the cloth in soap and water. Not soak the cloth; instead of just getting a little wet. It is here e more with less water.

I recommend you the two poles and advice if possible. This allows you all the way to one of the components, without fear of deleting even put water in the headphones. Wipe the headphones or earbuds keys with a damp cloth.

For more stubborn residues and waste with a dry toothbrush to loosen them, then wipe with a cloth. After everything is clean, let it sit in the extra towel to air dry. After drying, reassemble and reuse as usual.

Some manufacturers recommend using different techniques. For example, Bose recommends using hydrogen peroxide or soap and water to clean the different parts of the headphones. It is always a good idea to check the manufacturer of your respective brand's website, but the method described above is a decent starting point for all helmets.
