"I use Kmart and IKEA airtight glass containers to pack most of my fresh food because it is easier to grip and eat and it promotes healthy nutrition for my children," he said. She writes on her website .

Then, if you don't have enough space to store bulky juice containers, pour some of the liquid into a small glass and continue to fill.

"I store all of my son Jay's yogurts in a Kmart acrylic refrigerator so that they can be easily extracted and flavored instead of rummaging on the fridge shelves," he said.

Herbs from the garden are kept indoors, in a cup of water and in the fridge, so that they fit perfectly in the evening meal.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR FRIDGE:

• Wash / clean all types of fruit and vegetables and store them in airtight containers. This makes gripping and eating considerably easier and promotes the consumption of fruit and vegetables (especially for children at home).

• Keep all of the lettuce vegetables clean in airtight containers to keep them fresh for longer.

• If your bulky juice / beverage bottles take up too much space in your refrigerator and you have little liquid, fill them into smaller glasses / bottles to save space (I also do this with pickled vegetables and olives).

• I love harvesting small amounts of herbs from the garden and storing them in water jugs in the fridge to add to my dishes or to decorate.

• I keep all of Jay's yogurts in a Kmart acrylic refrigerator so they can be easily removed and seasoned instead of rummaging through the refrigerated shelves / drawers (I do that with all types of cheese too).

• I use clear glass containers to keep items in the fridge because I like to open the fridge and have everything visible (this helps ensure that nothing rots by forgetting that they are piled up somewhere behind).

• To clean my fridge thoroughly once a month, I empty the entire fridge and clean the shelves / drawers with a paper towel and my preferred environmentally friendly kitchen cleaners. I also placed a small bowl of rose water or baking soda with a few drops of lemon or orange essential oils on the back of the fridge to keep the smell fresh.

Sara remembers how her mother said, "everything in her house, she has a house" when she was little, and it was a feeling that accompanied her when she became a mother herself.

"I am convinced that integrating practical organizational systems at home will make life much easier," Sara, who lives in Sydney, told FEMAIL earlier.

`` It halves the cleaning time when everything has a home to go back to, and overall everything looks fantastic when it's clean and tidy. ''

COOKED

For the kitchen cupboard, Sara uses IKEA bathtubs and labels them so that her husband also wants to order and knows where everything belongs.

"I liked the IKEA toilets so much that I decided to rearrange the entire warehouse with these toilets," he said.

"I found out that they worked exceptionally well when storing our cleaning products and that each item was very easy to find if it was assigned to its own labeled tank.

"I still have work to do in this room, but so far I like the way the bathrooms have worked for me.

How to start an organizational task:

If you plan to start an organizational project in your home, follow these simple steps before you buy your inventory items:

1. Sort items: For example, when you organize toys, you assign each toy to its own category. This determines the number of tanks you need.

2. Create your budget: How much do you want to spend / save on this particular project?

3. Measure your space: Make sure the containers or storage system you want to use fit in the space you want. So you don't have to make multiple trips to and from shops.

4. Make your list: I am like a smart girl, so it is not surprising that I never go to stores without a shopping list.

5. Compare prices - make sure you buy the right storage system for your budget.

6. Once you have organized your space, I recommend labeling everything. I don't know what it's like to use labels that make everything seem so much more organized.

BATHROOM

Under the vanity, Sara used Kmart bamboo bathtubs.

"They are perfect because they are stackable and save a lot of space while keeping everything in order," he said.

"You don't have to rummage under bathroom cabinets to find a particular item."

TOY SPACE

One of Sara's favorite comforts in her home is the toy department, which she has set up in her son's room.

"We decided to use the IKEA Trofast system to organize all of Jay's toys in his room," he said.

`` We went from baskets to mixed toy baskets (which were always thrown on the floor so he could find a particular toy) to a phenomenal organization system, tagging and everything.

"Each toy belongs to its own category, and if Jay wants to find his favorite car, he knows that he lives in the" car "tub.

Sara's tips to stay organized:

If you have created a home for something, make sure that when it is used, you will return to your "home". This ensures that it is not hiding anywhere to become "clutter".

Teach the children the same thing. If you wear something, it must return to its place.

For example:

• Toys return to the assigned containers / baskets (separate toys into categories, e.g. cars, dolls, Legos, blocks, cuddly toys, kitchen utensils, modeling clay, etc.).

• Dirty clothes are part of the basket / laundry

• Stationery belongs to desk drawers or stationery.

• Books belong to the library.

• Towels and bed linen are part of the wardrobe.

• Kitchen utensils belong in the kitchen drawer (please do not leave this long wooden spoon in the living room after you have used it to pull something under the sofa).

Following these tips ensures that your home stays organized and tidy.

ROOM CABINETS

As a great fashion fanatic, Sara likes to clean the cupboards in her room, in her husband's room or in the children's room.

"I always work with the seasons, so when spring / summer comes, I pack these maxi summer dresses and everything that can't be worn in autumn / winter," she said.

"I use large IKEA wicker baskets to keep these clothes on until next summer. Or even the IKEA 'SKUBB' storage cases are amazing.

As a big fashion fan, Sara likes to clean her own wardrobes, that of her husband or children.

If you have your clothes spun regularly, you cannot forget that you bought something

If you have your clothes spun regularly, you cannot forget that you bought something

`` They are slim and have vents so your clothes don't smell strange (I throw in a few bags of shaved soap or potpourri organza and the clothes smell good after you take them out). ''

If you turn your clothes regularly, don't forget that you bought something.

Her next project will be the pantry where she wants to buy more supplies from Kmart and IKEA to decorate them.
