  1. Cleaning and disinfection alone do not guarantee an infection-free environment. Residents, family members, visitors and workers should do their part by washing their hands, covering their coughs, staying at home in the event of illness and regularly cleaning and disinfecting personal items and rooms. Private. Use a disinfectant gel or wipes to clean hands, keyboards, door handles, and phones. Using a cloth or elbow to catch sneezes helps everyone's safety.
  2. Let the consumer know that, to protect everyone at home, they practice social distance, wear gloves and a mask. Ask consumers (including pets and children) to stay away from rooms and areas during maintenance. Find out if someone in your home or someone you know has a cold / flu. If so, plan a new appointment.
  3. Take a step back, stay away from others, preferably 6-10 feet (cough and sneeze area). Always wear a face mask (N95 respirator, surgical mask, headscarf) when you are working and traveling in congested public spaces. (Shopping, traveling if you are within 10 feet of someone else, etc.).
  4. No handshakes or hugs yet, arm / elbow slaps. Use phones and emails to reduce personal contact. Don't share, use your own desk, phone, computer and stapler, etc.
  5. Keep your hands and fingers away from your eyes, nose, mouth, face and body. This is the most common way to get infected. Clean and disinfect surfaces and objects frequently.
  6. Before starting work, put on gloves and take them off when you stop working. Wear new gloves in every house, or clean and disinfect the gloves before removing and reusing them.
  7. Wash your hands frequently and apply a disinfectant gel before and after using the toilet, eating, removing gloves or a mask. Wear a mask and goggles when mixing chemicals, fog, or dust into the air.
  8. Get creative and find ways to avoid touching frequently used contact points (items that are repeatedly touched / used by others: buttons, handles, telephones, buttons, building entrances, elevators, conference and meeting rooms). Use an arm instead. a shirt, an elbow, a foot, a paper towel, gloves. Use credit cards or electronic payments, avoid cash.
  9. Use a disinfectant solution or wipes to regularly clean all high-contact surfaces such as light switches, elevator buttons, handrails, fountains, telephones, door handles and plates, edges, desks, keyboards, etc. Do the same at home when you are traveling or using public facilities. Bring disinfection gel / wipes.
  10. Do not return wet tools, equipment, mops, or dirty cleaning rags to the same bucket or container. Clean and disinfect all tools and equipment (whatever is brought and used at home) with a properly mixed disinfectant solution that will allow a reasonable dwell time according to the instructions on the label (up to 7-10 minutes). Replace cleaning solution, mops, and rags regularly (if cloudy, visibly dirty, or according to guidelines) to avoid loss of efficiency and contamination. Some areas have to be used once.

Final thoughts:

Do not be afraid, take proactive measures to reduce risks and take measures to prevent cross infections. Take care of your surroundings and take measures to protect yourself, your family and the public. Protection and care of vulnerable members of society; Disabled, the elderly and the disabled. Show respect and gratitude to those who protect us and run fearlessly when we need help. The best thing you can do now is to stay away from others and follow the advice above.

It is important: it is the right thing. Life depends on your actions.

Good luck, stay healthy and keep it clean and safe.
