Citric Acid : Tim says: "The citric acid in lemons makes kitchen surfaces and floors glow . It works wonders on stubborn stains like grease and is also helpful when you need to remove mold from between tiles or mold around window sills.
My advice: you can buy a pack of three unwaxed lemons for £ 1 from Asda or a pack of four lemons from Morrisons' Market St Wonky for 59 cents.
Baking Sodium: Tim says, " Baking soda is good at removing unwanted bathroom odors. Combined with its ability to remove limescale, this natural deodorant gives showers, toilets and sinks a fresh look and smell. Also good when you want to remove stains from towels and bath mats without damaging them.
My advice: Instead of £ 1.40 for a 200g jar of Dr. Oetkers baking powder at Sainsbury's, buy the 200 g jar for 65 pence at Asda.
VINEGAR: Tim says, "When it comes to making glass and mirror surfaces shiny and streak-free, your ultimate solution is as cheap as chips and completely natural. Distilled vinegar is a staple ingredient for experienced cleaners. Vinegar turns into a smudge-proof wonder when mixed with an equal part of hot tap water. This makes it the perfect base for any spray to beautify your mirrors and windows. Spray and wipe the surface with a damp cloth first, then buff it with a dry cloth. ""
My advice: I like Wilko's Original White Vinegar Cleaning Spray and it only costs £ 1.50. But I've also heard good things about Stardrops White Vinegar Spray, which is available at valuesuperstore.co.uk for £ 1.
