Using technology to help more Filipino households gain access to clean and safe water

Diana Stalder is constantly spreading love in the hearts normal new season. The cutting edge authority on skin care, beauty, and healthy living will celebrate Valentine's Day in a different but more meaningful way this year.

The company invites its customers to share their love with their Filipinos stricken by the ongoing pandemic in order to meet one of their most basic needs: access to clean water. Diana Stalder invites you: "Let your love flow on this Valentine's Day."

The one-month campaign enables valuable Diana Stalder customers to give something back in a simple but very meaningful way. In February, with every purchase of dS products worth 2,500 Filipino pesos, a unit of water purifier is financed, which is donated to a family who cannot afford the purified water.

Promotion of clean water

These efforts are a continuation of the Stalder Group's previous "Clean Water for Everyone" project launched in December 2020. The program donated water treatment equipment to families in communities hit hard by the devastation of Typhoon Ulysses in November.

"Immediate access to clean and safe water is now more than ever critical to the health of all Filipino families," said Dina Dela Paz Stalder, founder and CEO of the Stalder Group.

"The economic effects of the new standard are depriving many households of good health due to the lack or lack of drinking water. That's why Diana Stalder invites everyone to join us in spreading the love for our fellow human beings through this cause, "he added.

The need for clean water

According to the latest data from UNICEF Philippines, 80 percent of the country's poor communities have access to basic water services. Given that around 20 percent of the national population still lack basic sanitation, the quality and safety of drinking water is still compromised. Water.org estimates that around 5 million Filipinos are still dependent on unsafe and unsustainable water sources.

This remains a pressing health problem as more and more people (especially the very young) are at risk for diseases caused by contaminated drinking water, especially in poor communities. Clean water is also important during these times when people need to wash their hands frequently to fight the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

"While many local households can spend part of their budget on buying purified, distilled or mineral water, there are still some who struggle to make ends meet. Diana Stalder supports the Patriotic Reputation to make sure no one is left behind. In small but meaningful ways, we can help all families emerge healthy and healthy from this crisis, "said Dela Paz.
