Stacey Solomon truly is the queen of cleaning and DIY, as proven by her popular social media content.
She is also the presenter of the BBC program Sort Your Life Out, where the clever influencer visits families across the UK to help them tidy up their homes, clean the interiors and clear out any clutter.
We can learn a lot from the makeover show, as Stacey revealed a clever and cost-effective tip on how to get rid of that musty washing machine smell in a recent episode.
The mother-of-five visited her mother Kirsty and partner Taureen in Nottingham to help them renovate their four-bedroom home.
The house was full of clutter, so Stacey and her team quickly got to work finding practical storage solutions for the family.
Cleaning expert Iwan Carrington was on board to help us and give a very clever tip for cleaning washing machine drawers effectively.
Over time, these can form mold and lead to an unpleasant smell in the washing machine, which can be transferred to the clothes.
Ivan then showed viewers how to avoid this. Wearing cleaning gloves, she spread baking soda on her hands and rubbed it into the dirty areas of the drawer. Then she sprinkled white vinegar over the baking soda and it started to fizz and fizz.
Ivan explained: "Whatever the situation, this advice will ruin it. Now hopefully not only will the family have fewer clothes to wash, but they will all smell amazing when they wash them too."
Baking soda and white vinegar cost around €1 each and can be purchased at any supermarket, making this tip very cheap and affordable.
Iwan also shared tips on how to keep your bathroom sink sparkling clean.
"If you ever get a drop of toothpaste in the sink, don't just rinse it away," she said.
Using an old toothbrush and toothpaste, he easily removed stubborn stains and left the sink "nice and shiny."
She added: "It's a really lovely, gentle cleanser. Then simply wipe it quickly with a damp cloth to remove all of the toothpaste. Is it pretty?"
