Tips for the spring cleaning

When we enter the spring season, there is no better time to think about cleaning your house upside down. Most people focus mainly on their yards, windows, driveways, but every home can benefit from thorough cleaning in the spring. I will share some tips.

 Surround the kitchen

Around the house

Tips to give the season the right place.

l The best refrigerator cleaner is a combination of salt and carbonated water. The effervescent action of carbonated water combines with the abrasive consistency of the salt to form an excellent cleaner.

l The best way to remove lime from the faucet is to place paper towels in the accessories, soak in vinegar and let stand for one hour. Inserts become softer and easier to eradicate. It will work for your shower too.

l Give your microwave oven, stove and other appliances a good scouring function.

l Keep a chlorine mixture to clean any surface after preparing the food, follow the manufacturer's recommendations.

Vinegar is also an excellent glass cleaner, use an old newspaper to make it even better.

l Wood floors look bright when you use a small portion of water and a portion of vinegar to wipe the mop and remove excess water.

l Clean the slats of a ceiling fan by covering them with a layer of this mixture of vinegar and water. Wipe off the excess and buff it lightly.

l The dry films used are ideal for removing dust from blinds and furniture. The new ones are ideal for getting rid of insects and tar when you wash your car.

l If the curtains look dull, remove them from the window, remove the hooks and place them in the dryer for 15 minutes with a damp cloth (to remove dust). Hang them in the windows immediately.

Make an inventory of lockers to decide which clothes and shoes should be stored in a donation box, or incentivize a flea market. If you have not even used it in 2017, it's time to let it go.

Shred documents

l All documents and old mails containing confidential or financial information must be removed by shredding.

l Old computers and old smartphones should be freed from their internal or recessed hard drives and taken to a recycling center near you.

When cleaning your home, remember to recycle as much as possible and do not throw everything away.

Make spring cleaning a family affair so you can spend time together while preparing your home for the season!
