Unlike its name, the Lux V3 Series is the most basic instant pot in terms of features. It includes a pressure cooker, a pressure cooker, a rice cooker, a pan, a buffer and a stove. You can buy it in the formats 3 quarters ($ 65), 6 quarters ($ 80) and 8 quarters ($ 110).
With the Lux you can cook for up to four hours at high pressure and keep it manually or automatically hot for up to 10 hours. However, there is no low pressure option for this model. This is also the only model without lid support (these practical slots in the left and right handles can support your lid).
Of course, the Lux is a basic model, but if you have a limited budget, you can prepare simple meals in a short time.

Some of you might remember the first Instant Pot Smart, the Instant Pot Smart with Bluetooth technology. The company abandoned this model and replaced it with the Instant Pot Smart Wi - Fi at $ 150. This multicuis connects to the instant pot your phone application for remote monitoring of your kitchen, customizing recipes and notifications.
If you're looking for a multi-cooker with some technology transfer options, this model is currently the only option. Instant Pot has announced that it will provide compatibility with Google Assistant for this model earlier this year. However, there are no words on a given date. Also note that this model is only available in a size of 6 pints. If you do not like it, I'll think it over.

Instant pot max
The $ 200 Instant Pot Max takes a different approach than the models above. Aimed at anyone who wants to experience and do more with their multicooker, offers greater cooking pressure (15 psi to 11.6 psi on other models) and vacuum cooking and preserves.
It also has an automatic steam valve that releases the pressure quickly or naturally depending on your choice. However, these attractive updates have their price.
There are many things you will not get. Lacks popular presets in this model, including the bean / chili, meat / stew, pie and egg, and it is a mark of volume inside the bottle as in other models. The Instant Pot Max is also available in a size of only 6 pints and is the heaviest model with 13.25 lbs.

What is better for you?
The specific food modes and options make a difference in choosing the mode you use most often. If you dare to prepare your own yoghurt, or if you like hard-boiled eggs, it pays to pay a little more for an instant pot that can do those things.
For choosing the right size, Instant Pot recommends a 3-liter model for one or two people. Families with six or fewer people will probably be satisfied with the 6-room multi-cooker. If you often have a large house or groups of large houses, you should switch to an 8-room model.
