HOUSTON, Texas - With this advice from Nancy Devlin, an organization expert in Houston, take a new look at your clothes and update your look by using clothes in your own wardrobe.

There are two ways to solve this problem:

  • Take everything out of your closet and put it on your bed to loosen it.
  • Address a small part of your wardrobe at a time. Trying to clean an entire closet can be overwhelming, especially if you don't have a lot of time to do business.

Classify your clothes in four categories:

  • keep it up
  • Make a donation
  • repair
  • office

Try everything The exception: the clothes that you wear for work and that you know how to work for yourself. When testing each item, ask yourself the following questions:

  • It is convenient
  • Do you trust?
  • Do you need to be repaired or cleaned? If so, do you take the time to fix it?
  • Where would you use it

When trying on your clothes, try to collect items in new ways to create different outfits. Do not just coordinate the ups and downs, but think about what accessories you would use for each outfit. If you find an outfit that looks great, take a selfie to remember the outfit. This will help you if you are in a hurry to build a solid whole.

Put the clothes back in your closet by following these tips:

  • I have many types of hangers available. Change your clothes with just one kind of hanger to get a cleaner closet.
  • Create sections in your closet for tops, pants, and dresses. Sort each section by color (light to dark) and length (sleeveless to top with long sleeves).

Place donations in a bag throughout the process. When you're done cleaning your closet, put the bag in your car and plan to leave your donation as soon as possible.

If you have nice clothes but don't want to, take photos and post them online.
