Hinch fans give tips on how to get rid of silver fish in your home

Sophie Hinchliffe, also known as Mrs. Hinch, made the cleanup on Instagram famous again by sharing her best tips for removing dirt and grime. The influencer has millions of followers who have since formed their own social media groups to help each other find solutions to cleaning problems in their homes. In a new message, a subscriber asked how certain pests can be eliminated in your home.

One of Ms. Hinch's fans on the Hinch Army Cleaning Tips Facebook group asked her why she had silverfish in her house and how to get rid of it.

Silverfish are silver wingless insects that have a fish-like shape and movement, but are also known as "bristle tails".

They usually move around the corners of the floor in baths and other wetlands.

However, they are also often found in bathtubs, basements, kitchens and attics.

Hinch's "army," as they are called, hurried to suggest remedies to get rid of the annoying insects.

However, a first aider suggested finding the cause because a problem could arise anywhere in the house.

"Did you go anywhere?" The previous owners of our house had a continuous leak from the tub that had hit the floor. We fixed the leak and reloaded it on the top floor. I have only seen one since then, hoping that they did the trick, "they wrote.

Others suggested removing paper or cardboard they had in the house as this could attract them.

The other members of the group also showed how they got rid of them with various sprays and pest control products.

Several members said they used Dethlac spray, which currently only costs £ 4.50 on Amazon and works on all crawling insects.

The insecticide can be sprayed onto surfaces and dries quickly in a hard, transparent film that kills insects within hours of contact with the area.

Surprisingly, another fan said that Wood Silk, an enamel that the group recommended to clean surfaces to make them look new, instantly kills them.

Others used ant dust to get rid of hers, saying they haven't seen him since leaving every few days, although they warned that it could get a little messy.

Another fan, however, recommended a product that was specifically designed for this type of insect.

RugRemedy Silverfish Killer Spray costs £ 12.50 at Amazon and is said to protect against pests for up to a year.

"I had this incredible pain! I haven't seen Amazon in the bathroom and kitchen for centuries," said Hinch's student.
