Did you know cleaning your Keurig coffee maker can make your morning coffee even better?
Brandon Pleshek ( @cleanthatup ) is a third generation concierge and TikToker who has reached an audience of nearly 1 million TikTok users with his clever cleaning tips , tricks, and hacks . He recently shared a video showing how to properly clean a Keurig and it's a landmark coffee shop .
Start by removing the inner cup holder and tray before submerging them in warm water and vinegar.
Pleshek then mixes 80 oz. Clean the Keurig from coffee machine cleaner with cold water in the machine container (you can also use vinegar).
Then run the cleaning solution through the machine and use a glass to contain the pollution.
As Pleshek shows in the foreground, coffee residues are already floating in the glass after just one cleaning.
Let the Keurig container sit for 30 minutes once there is an inch or two of cleaning solution in the Keurig container.
Then repeat the process and rinse the machine again with clean water. Pleshek recommends flushing three full tanks through the Keurig for thorough cleaning.
Finally, Pleshek removes the parts soaked in vinegar and water and rinses them off with soap and water. Once any traces or smells of vinegar are removed, place them back in the Keurig.
"Now you are ready to prepare a fresh, clean cup of coffee, " explains Pleshek proudly and ends with a thumbs up.
This method of cleaning a keurig was obvious to some onlookers and they enjoyed the pleshek demonstration.

"That's good! People [can] drink mold and don't know," commented one user.
"Ughh, thanks, I needed a picture," commented another Keurig enthusiast.
Others were less familiar with the Pleshek procedure or any method of cleaning a Keurig.
"Oh. You should clean them, "wrote a confused viewer.
"I will pretend I did not see this and I will continue not to clean it," concluded a brave soul.
