A mom went viral on TikTok after sharing her simple "couch deep cleaning routine" that leaves her furniture looking like new.
British TikTok user @capricesmum has revealed how to keep a sofa looking spotless with just a detergent capsule, a nailbrush and a washcloth.
In his clip he removes all the cushions from his sofa before using a mini handheld vacuum to remove any crumbs or dust before giving the sofa a proper cleaning.
She is then filmed wrapping a nailbrush in a cloth before placing a detergent capsule in a bucket of water.
Then lightly dip the wrapped brush in the mixture before using the item to scrub the couch.
All traces quickly disappear and by the end of the sequence the furniture is as good as new.
TikTok users were stunned by the handy tip, with one commenter saying, "I made this on my couch this week and it worked great."
A second added: "Satisfactory," while another added: "Have to do this for me." In addition to the life hack, many users were in love with the British mother's sofa.
One user wrote, "I love this sofa," while another wrote, "I need this sofa" [sic].
The 26-second video has so far garnered more than five million views and at least 273,000 likes.
The TikTok mom has 158,200 followers on the platform and uses her page to share cleaning tips for other parents.
