A CLEANING ace has shared his cheap housefly solution, and it's only 90 cents.
Commenting on a post on Ms Hinch's Cleaning Tips Facebook page, the woman revealed her nifty trick to ward off pesky flies in hot weather.
The woman asked, "There are many flies all over my house. How can I get rid of them? Thanks."
The cleaning wonder replied: "Fresh mint. What to grow in pots. Flies and ants hate it."
And the fresh-smelling weed is sold at Asda and other supermarkets for just 90p.
There is some support for the unconventional solution after a pest control expert told The Express that herbs and spices repel some insects.
Jordan Foster of Fantastic Pet Control said, "Certain herbs and spices like basil, mint, rosemary and cloves deter flies with their strong aromas."
"Flies tend to avoid mint for its strong aroma, especially spearmint and peppermint."
Other Facebook users have suggested using fresh basil — it smells just as good and works wonders against flies.
Jordan shared another fly banning hack for under £5 last month.

The pest expert said cotton balls soaked in vinegar work wonders at killing winged insects.
Boots sells 100 cotton balls for £1.38 and Wilko sells a 1 liter bottle of white vinegar for £1.25.
She also said pouring essential oils onto cotton balls can help.
Speaking to L'Express , he explained, "The strong scent of essential oils like peppermint, eucalyptus, lavender and lemongrass repels flies."
"Using these oils in diffusers, sprays, or dipped cotton balls and placing them in areas where flies are a nuisance will help eliminate them."
Peppermint Lavender Oil can be bought from Amazon for just £2.25.
Eucalyptus oil costs £1.79 on eBay, while the popular citronella insect killer costs between £1.45 for a 10ml bottle of oil on the online Pound Shop and £11.79 for a 750ml spray bottle on Amazon.
Jordan says white vinegar also works well when mixed with water and sprayed onto surfaces, preventing flies from sticking around.
