A SAVVY mom shared a trick she discovered to remove felt stains and even permanent marker stains from furniture.
Daisy Woods, who posts online as @muddlethroughummy, put the hack to the test and was impressed with the results.
"I've heard that you can remove permanent markers and markings on wood with toothpaste, so I'd like to see if that works because my four-year-old artist loves to go off-roading," she said.
The mother sprayed a small amount of toothpaste directly onto a marker on her son's wooden table.
He then rubbed the toothpaste in with a plain sponge for a few seconds, then wiped off the excess.
To Daisy's surprise, the marker spots were gone immediately.
"So it's clean and smells like fresh mint, proven," he said.
Other moms were also impressed by the cheap trick and couldn't wait to try it for themselves.
One said: "My God! I'll try it."
"I have to try this," commented another.

Meanwhile, another cleanliness freak suggested using toothpaste for other hacks around the house.
They wrote, "You can also use a mildly abrasive toothpaste on small scratches in the plastic as long as they are not too deep to help the appearance."
And since you already have toothpaste at home, the trick is almost free.
You can buy a separate tube of toothpaste to keep in your cleaning cupboard for just 50p.
