Roger Wei, head of product design and development at Temple & Webster, was surprised to discover how rarely Australians clean such a popular piece of furniture.

"Maybe they don't have enough time, but I also think there needs to be more education about sofa care. People need to know the differences between cleaning fabrics and leather. "Once you have that knowledge, you can apply it to caring for other fabric and leather pieces around the house," she tells 9honey Living.
