Safe at sea: The 10 best "green" navigation tips

Every day we all enjoy the rivers, bays and coastal waters of southwest Florida. Unfortunately, the health of our waters has deteriorated further in recent years. Therefore, it is the responsibility of each navigator to demonstrate good navigation practices that are directly related to our navigation environment.

In the Navigation Course of America manual, the following guidelines are pretty simple and realistic for each of us:

Why does a navigator clean his cargo space? No navigator should purposely or accidentally pump oily water overboard.
