The Vinyl Cleaning Company (VRCC), which is apparently scheduled to launch its redesigned website , has announced new cleaning solutions and services for its record collection.
First, the Australian company tells us that the Easy Spread n 'Peel (ESP) vinyl cleaning film is now available in three different concentrations to make it more suitable for a range of discs. Whether you want to approach old collections, well-maintained or new discs, there is now an ESP formula that suits you.
Long-time stored records tend to cleaning problems such as mold and contamination of tightly bound particles. On the other hand, new discs generally require easy cleaning to avoid production waste. Regardless of age, all records benefit from antistatic treatment. Therefore, VRCC has made it a standard feature throughout the ESP area. ESP is available in 210 ml and 500 ml bottles. The latter are enough to clean 50 12-inch discs.
It is recommended to use the VRCC Vinyl Record Cleaning System (VRCS), which consists of a stand and partitions as well as a measuring cup, a brush, an ESP device, an adhesive tape, a penny cleaner and an adhesive. You will probably understand that this cleaning system is manual.
The VRC comes with a battery compartment that supports up to 20 discs (7 and 12 inches) for $ 189.95 (£ 99). The new VRC Mini system, which processes up to 6 records simultaneously, costs AUD 110.95.
