A new star has appeared and is changing the game with its breathtaking beauty. Famed makeup artist Scott Osbourne is known for adding his unique and distinctive flair to every avant-garde look he creates. As a result, he's the makeup artist of choice for many of our favorite it-girls, including Keke Palmer, Saweetie, and Coi LeRay.

Scott began perfecting his art at a young age, applying makeup to his friend when he was in elementary school. The Maryland native quickly gained a steady stream of customers and ended up working for MAC Cosmetics before getting a great job as a makeup artist for rapper Rico Nasty. Since then, Scott has conquered the industry creating innovative beauty looks for many big names in fashion and entertainment.

Scott spent much of his early days as a makeup artist behind the Fashion Week beauty scene, and it's a creative outlet he still enjoys to this day. In fact, the beauty lady has just had a coveted stint behind the scenes as a makeup artist for Rihanna's Savage x Fenty Flight. 2, which is now streamed on Amazon Prime Video.

"Working with Savage x Fenty was amazing and great fun! Everything was exciting, fresh and new. Priscilla Ono and her colleague Héctor Espinal, the global makeup artist at Fenty Beauty, had the looks that the artist team was supposed to produce. The look was done with all of the Fenty Beauty products that I'm a huge fan of, "says Scott of his experience working on this iconic fashion show.

"One of my personal favorites from that night was a look from the 'Garden' scene I created on Nadia Lee. The tabs were made to measure. The petals were placed in an eyelash strip to create a childlike blossom feeling. Overall it was sensual, but cutting edge, and I love it when I can bring these worlds together.

As a professional makeup artist, it's no secret that Scott and many other beauty artists have had to adapt to the new standard of work under the stringent conditions now applied to sets due to the pandemic. COVID-19. After all, for many artists and glamor workers in the beauty and fashion industries, staying safe and preventing the spread of the coronavirus is a top priority.

"Because of COVID, I've taken a lot more precautions and been extra careful and meticulous hygienic," shares Scott, giving us some of his wise advice on how to practice makeup artists. Take protective measures when wearing makeup at home or on the set.

"Now I thoroughly shampoo my makeup brushes three times a week and clean them with 99% alcohol and Cinema Secrets Brush Cleaner to disinfect them," explains Scott. She notes that cross-contamination is a major concern of makeup artists. So, "use a trowel to pour in all of your creams and liquids and get away from them." If you use powder, wipe it off with a towel after use. Have a container of windshield wipers handy so you can clean your hands while you work. If you use lipsticks and lip gloss, scrape off your lipstick with a spatula and work with the spatula, "advises the beauty expert.

In addition to practicing safety in the COVID-19 era, many beauty enthusiasts are also looking for easy ways to prepare their skin for cooler weather on the street so they can achieve fabulous makeup looks without worry. We asked Scott about his experience of how he fits perfectly into the new season.

"When autumn comes we tend to get dry and flaky, and it's colder outside. These are some of my best beauty tips for the fall season, "she says. "Use a thick moisturizer. It helps your skin lock in and retain moisture. Use a humidifier at home. Helps to stimulate the skin's moisture. Change the base. The seasons change, so your skin tone changes. Cares for the lips and keeps them supple. When it gets colder, the lips are more likely to become dry and flaky. Use a non-petroleum product for the best result. ""
