Is your Gmail inbox out of control? This wizard can help you

As more people work from home, many live under the control of their email. It can be difficult to sort through the daily flood of messages and know exactly what to reply to and what other notifications to ignore. Fortunately, there is a service that works with your current Gmail account that will help you manage your inbox.

Given how long most people have had their Gmail accounts, it's easy to see how inboxes can swell. Gmail has always been around, but it's still updated regularly. Tap or click to see a time-saving Gmail feature added this year.

Whether you want to control how emails are received, reduce the amount of spam, or just plan some email-free time, we've found the perfect Gmail assistant that has all of this and more. Read on for all the details on how to clean your inbox.

A powerful new messaging assistant

This newly released email assistant, simply called Mailman , is the latest in a long list of tools designed to enhance the traditional email experience. Note that the service is not free and will cost you $ 8.99 per month. But there's a generous 45-day free trial available to see if you like how it works.

The big problem with these tools is that often users are forced to completely switch to a new email platform, requiring users to create new email addresses. Not with Mailman. The service signs into your Google Account so you can view and edit emails in your existing Gmail account.

Once Mailman is authorized to access Gmail, he can do several things with:

  • Do not disturb mode : Need a break for email? Set the hours when all your email will be saved.
  • Delivery locations : Instead of receiving every new email as soon as it's sent to you, you can choose from different delivery locations.
    • Receive mail several times a day; periodically; or in defined hours.
  • The VIP List : Always send emails from specific contacts so you don't miss anything important.
  • Block Unimportant Emails - Customize the emails you receive from which senders, reducing the spam emails you need to sort.
    • Every day, Mailman sends you a summary of all blocked emails that you can review and choose senders to block or allow in the future.

Anyone can use these tools to clean up a bloated and cluttered Gmail inbox. However, if you feel that your current email is too far away to retrieve, there are plenty of other email services that are not managed by Google.
