1. The colors transformed by Ms. Hinch are versions with eyelets. These curtains hang directly from a compatible curtain rod that has their metal rings screwed onto it. The design creates smooth, even folds of curtain fabric, but they aren't the most complete folds. The secret of this, as Instagrammer revealed, is the insulation of the pipe.

2. It's certainly not glamorous in and of itself, but pipe insulation can definitely add glamor to your window and is key to the luxurious look that Ms. Hinch creates for her curtains. She buys hers on eBay. What size to buy? Ms. Hinch recommends the larger one so that it slides easily over the curtain rod.

3. In the next step, cut the pipe insulation into pieces of the same size. These are slid onto the post between the eyelets of the curtain, which will make the folds even, so you can count how many you need for your curtains. Mrs. Hinch needed 10 for her window curtains.

4. You need to lower the curtain rod to slide the pipe insulation between the folds, following the example of Ms. Hinch. That's the secret of regular bends - you can't go wrong with evenly sized sections of pipe insulation in the middle.

5. Would you like to order your curtains now without ordering pipe insulation? Alternatively, Ms. Hinch suggests the cardboard tubes in the middle of the toilet paper rolls. Finished? Complete, uniform and beautifully draped in the style of Ms. Hinch, they are yours.
