7 tips from Chef Suzi Gerber to get you started on a plant-based diet

It's almost January, which means one thing: dissolution season. It's time to get fit and eat to finally change your waistline once and for all and save the planet. It's a new year, it's time for a new you, there is no better time to try a plant-based diet this month.

Here are seven simple steps to help you start plant-based eating right away and keep loving the foods you eat as you clean up your diet, get healthier, lose weight, and help the planet. For these tips, please contact Suzannah Gerber , a chef, nutritionist, and medical researcher based in Boston, Massachusetts. 1. Make the move!

3. Take one step at a time

Opting for herbal products is pretty simple - cut all animal products out of your diet, but don't rush to a rabbit food corner. If you feel like , why not try a Beyond burgers , a bold roast chicken , a Tofurky sausage and these delicious Chao cheese slices - just a few of our favorites. These alternatives are healthier for you and the planet than the original ones! Using plants alone saves you tons of saturated fat, cholesterol, and calories, and provides you with tons of fiber. If you want, you can exercise healthier step by step once you get the hang of it.

4. Find vegan exchanges

Let your creativity run wild and take advantage of this season of dissolution to add even more plants to your diet. You can use a creamy avocado puree in place of cheese or mayo in a sandwich, or bake corn muffins with applesauce and flaxseed instead of eggs . . Take a taste test of all the fun herbal products and recipes you can find. This new diet can be a fun adventure, and there are some fun recipes that can help control those cravings.

5. There is an herbal diet for everyone

If weight loss is your short-term goal and you want to see results in no time, you should use a ketogenic diet month in January to be considering. The ketogenic diet is not generally considered a plant-based diet, but a month of vegan ketogenic diet can boost your weight loss goal before switching to a healthier, more balanced diet. 6. Don't worry about the details

There's a learning curve to living on plants, reading food labels, and learning how to choose and cook new foods. If you make mistakes, don't worry! It will soon become second nature, but stay positive and try throughout the process. As the pounds drop, your carbon footprint goes down - and animals thank you - if you buy the wrong dark chocolate one time in the store, it won't ruin the good job you did last week or will do next week.

7. Get ready to eat!

Most people find that they have an increased appetite when they first go vegan. As you lose weight and move away from processed herbal alternatives, you will crave more nutrition! Stocking up on your favorite vegetables is a great way to stack plants and fill your plate and stomach. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables without counting calories and get the boost of energy we all feel when we make positive changes.

With the right positive approach and these handy tips, depending on your determination, you can have a good time. You will feel so good you will want to keep going year round, and you probably will too!
