Makeup Tips for Pandemic Weddings

Beauty may be in the eyes of the beholder, but there is little debate about the Indian wedding industry and the resilience it has shown during the time of the COVID-19 crisis. Beauty and makeup are an integral part of major Indian weddings and have also been angry with COVID-19, where businesses and salons have had to close and the entire industry is seeing changes. But as they say the show has to go on, the global beauty industry has adapted wonderfully to the changing scenarios of the pandemic and people are back in the salons, best of all: brides are back!
And if you are a withdrawn bride ready to get her wedding makeup done, be sure to follow the tips below while applying her makeup.
Make-up application requires prolonged physical contact. Here are ways to be sure.
- Always wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose during the appointment

- Make sure your makeup artist disinfects makeup products and brushes / applicators with 70% isopropyl alcohol. A disinfectant spray should also be sprayed on lipsticks and brushes before cleaning.

- Brushes should be cleaned before each makeup session by saturating the bristles with brush cleaner and then spraying them with alcohol.

-When doing makeup at home, clean your brushes thoroughly by soaking them in tea tree oil and baking soda after properly cleaning.

- Keep a separate bag for your clean brushes and another for your dirty / used brushes

- Always use disposable applicators as double soaking is not hygienic and can contaminate the entire product.

- When visiting a famous salon, you can bring your own mascara, pencils and lipsticks. Or, ask the artist to use a disposable mascara wand and not dunk it twice

- Lipstick and lip gloss should be placed on a palette with a spatula and applied with a brush.
There is no termination of the Indian marriage. Big or fat or small and thin, Indian wedding parties are here to stay.
