People were "blown away" after a professional cleaner revealed a nifty trick that made cutlery look shiny and new.
Liesl Elizabeth, who runs the Clean-Freak Cleaning Company in Australia, shared a video on TikTok that revealed the hack.

In a short video shared on the platform last week titled "In Today's Episode of Learning the Obvious," the professional housekeeper revealed the method she uses to stack cutlery in the dishwasher for the best results.
The clip opens with a caption that said, "I was years old today when ..." before Elizabeth showed her method.
Rather than putting cutlery upright in the small basket that they normally stacked in the lower basket of the dishwasher, the video shows Elizabeth putting each cutlery in a single slot in the upper basket.
In the dishwasher area, where large items like plates and plates are usually placed in individual slots, Elizabeth places dirty knives and forks.

The video, which has been viewed more than 15,000 times, received overwhelming praise and surprise, and people shared their disbelief that the method was effective.
One commenter said it made them "so stupid" not to think about the method, while another asked, "Is this witchcraft?"
There were also those who laughed at those who were surprised by the method, claiming that they already stack their dishwashers this way.
